Venerational decease

In the Moscow church of St. Nicholas near State Library ("Staroye Vagan'kovo") Grigoriy Rasputin is venerated as a saint, although semi-secretly. His portrait is kept in the altar of the church as
"private property temporarily kept by the Church." Nadya Kevorkova (Novaya gazeta, 8.2.2001, p. 7) saw the portrait and spoke with some of the parishioners, who stated the this "icon" is wonder-working..
