Metr Vladimir Ikim

Metropolitan Vladimir of Tashkent gave an interview to "Izvestiya", 02.25.2002. Vladimir Ikim, b, Febr. 1, 1940 in Moldavia, in 1969-1978 he was the member of special comission of the Patriarchy dedicated to the research of Roman Catholicism. He was the vicar of the late Patriarch Pimen, but Patriarch Alexy send him into a sort of honour exile into Middle Asia. Ikim in his interview said that the dogma on Papal infallability states that Pope is not responsible even if he leads to the hell millions of souls. He said that Islam is the religion of love and Roman Catholic Church always used force to convert people.
